Head in the Clouds is where design meets adventure — a modern luxury cabin with unreal views, true ski-in/ski-out access, and thoughtful touches throughout. Perched on the quiet side of Beech Mountain, this is your home base for snow days, starry nights, and slow mornings with coffee on the deck.

The top floor is all about light and connection — an open-concept kitchen, dining, and living area that flows effortlessly. Floor-to-ceiling windows put the mountains on full display. Cozy up by the gas fireplace, stream your favorite shows, or dive into a board game.
Soak in the fresh mountain air during summer — two oversized sliding doors and a front screen door create an amazing cross breeze, perfectly suited to our spot perched on the edge and near the top of the mountain.
Bonus: the giant bean bag flips into extra sleeping space for guests.
Fully Stocked Chef’s Kitchen
Granite counters, stainless steel appliances, and every tool you need to whip up a big breakfast or après-ski pasta night. Coffee k-cups are included. You bring the groceries; we’ve got the rest.
Rest Easy
Primary Suite: King bed, private deck access, 50" Smart TV, and a spa-like bathroom with heated bidet toilet (yes, really!)
Bunk Room: 2 full-over-queen bunks (sleeps 6), Smart TV, and its own full bathroom.
Individual wall-mounted heaters in each bedroom + bathroom for customized comfort.
Outdoor Space That Hits Different
Two levels of deck space for sunrise coffee, grilling out, or just breathing in mountain air. Watch deer stroll by as the clouds roll across the ridgeline. No filter needed.

You know that classic Beech Mountain road everyone imagines? That’s where we are — right on it, with epic views and slopes just steps away. You’re minutes from the 5506’ Sky Bar, Beech Mountain Ski Village, and a short drive to Grandfather Mountain, Banner Elk, and local wineries. Whatever the season, there’s always something to explore.
Pro Tip: Winter Access
Beech Mountain = real snow. 4WD or snow chains may be required during snow blowing from the resort or winter storms. (We’ll keep you posted if a big one’s rolling in.)
